Here is a list of commonly asked questions regarding my wedding photography. I hope this may help answer one of your questions!

Availability and Travel

Do you have my wedding date available?

The best way to find out is to email me! In order to start a conversation about your wedding photography, the most important pieces of information that I will initially need to know are your wedding date and your venue.  I love to know the interesting details like a tented backyard wedding, an open air camp wedding, etc.  I typically book 12 months in advance, so don’t delay in speaking with me if you’d like to get on my calendar.

Where are you located, and where do you travel?

I’m in Goffstown, New Hampshire, and I include 100 miles of total driving travel in my wedding coverage fee. Mileage beyond 100 miles roundtrip from zip code 03045 is billed at $1/mile.  Additionally, locations two hours away or more will require an overnight stay so I can get home safely.

Can I add extra hours to your packages?

You may add an extra hour to the 6 hour package, for a total of 7 hours, for $450 more. The 8 hour package is the maximum amount of time I am available. I do not photograph weddings for lengths longer than 8 hours.

Do you offer engagement sessions?

I do not offer engagement sessions. My collections include wedding day coverage only.

COVID-19 Precautions

I am fully vaccinated (2 doses of Pfizer plus Booster) to protect myself and others as best we can be during this pandemic. I am happy to follow all state and local mask mandates as well as happy to follow all personal preferences regarding masks and social distancing within private homes and businesses. I want you and I to feel comfortable being in close contact with one another on a wedding day.

Absolutely! I would love to schedule a time to speak on the phone.

What are the payment terms for your services?

A non-refundable wedding retainer fee of $1000 is required to reserve your wedding date exclusively for you, along with a signed wedding photography contract. If you are doing Collection III (Small Wedding Package), then the retainer is 50%. Your date is not guaranteed until both of these items have been received.  The final balance is due 1 month before your wedding date.

How do I complete your contract?

Your contract/welcome packet will be mailed to your home via USPS. In this packet you will find:

• 2 copies of the contract (one for you to keep, and one for you to sign and return),

• an informational magazine with planning tips and information about me

• a Wedding Worksheet. This worksheet helps me plan your photography and it asks for information about your wedding party, family members that you’d like photographed, your timeline, vendors, and any other special notes that I should know. This worksheet should be completed and returned to me about a month before your wedding, along with your final payment.

Do you offer payment plans?

After a $1000 down retainer is paid to reserve the date, the payments are completely up to you. The balance is due in full 30 days prior to the wedding date, but other than that you are free to submit payments along the way as you like.

Products and Delivery of Images

When do I get my wedding images?

• 1-2 days after your wedding I will usually put a couple of teaser images on my Facebook page (so be sure to “like” and follow Erika Follansbee Photography on Facebook so you don’t miss it!). Feel free to tag yourselves so that all your family and friends will see it.
• Finally, your online wedding gallery containing all the final culled and edited images, will be available for viewing, sharing, and downloading 2-4 weeks after your wedding date.

How will I receive my photos?  How many?

Because I strive to show you the absolute best of the best photos,  I typically deliver 50-100 images per hour of coverage.  Your completed wedding images are housed in a personalized online gallery where you can view, share, download files, and order prints, all within a gorgeous interface. This is a turnkey collection of the best photos of your day, edited in a clean style that will not look dated in a few years. All of your original, high-res images are hosted in the cloud for a full year. Do I have printing rights to my wedding photos?

With your digital images you are granted a personal use release which means that you have the freedom to print the photos, and you can post them online to share with everyone you know.  For your convenience, your family and friends may order professional prints directly and inexpensively from your gallery. You are also free to have them printed at any lab of your choice.

How would you describe your style?

I have a very natural, laid-back, casual-but-elegant style that is best portrayed in an outdoor setting. I always prefer to work in unique, one of a kind inns, barns, restaurants, farms, bed & breakfasts, historical sites, orchards, waterfront camps, private homes, or any location that speaks to a couple’s individualism and personality.

I truly enjoy themed weddings, and I’m always inspired by the way a couple incorporates and entwines their own specific interests, hobbies, and history into their wedding story and carry it throughout every detail.
