Beka & Josh had a beautiful ceremony at Union Baptist Church in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, officiated by her father. In between the ceremony and reception we stopped at a little park in Lyndon, VT for some outdoor portraits of the wedding party before arriving at Lyndon State College for the reception. It was a perfect summer day surrounded by family and friends, and I can honestly say both Beka and Josh were beaming the whole day. Such a beautiful couple! My time with them was flanked on either side with photos by Beka’s sister, Sarah Sanville Photography. How lucky she is to have a wedding photographer as a sister, and a matron of honor, all at once! 🙂
I just love this one of the groomsmen….. possibly the craziest group of guys I have ever met, so it took all they had to “not smile” and show me swagger. They look awesome, yes?
The hot pink theme continued at the reception in the realistic details of the sugar flowers on the wedding cake. Pink Gerbera daisies and orchids in lifelike detail. Gorgeous!
I thought the way they did their table numbers was the coolest ever. Guests found their name and table number on a large display, and when they took their card off, they were to replace it with an instant Polaroid of themselves. Soon the entire board was covered in snapshots of their guests enjoying themselves at their reception–awesome!!
Beka and Josh, thank you so much for letting me be part of your special day. It was really fun to work with a couple who are so obviously nuts about each other (and also being so completely and utterly gorgeous was a huge pleasure too!!)
….. and also a big special thanks and shout-out to the Littleton Police Department for literally getting me to the church on time. 😉
