Happy 1st Birthday to sweet little Madison! I’ve enjoyed doing two different 1-year old portrait sessions this month, and it’s been especially special to me since my own little guy turned one this month also. So the May babies are just everywhere right now!
Madison was adorable in her first dress…. her clear blue eyes and mile long lashes were amazing.
It took me by surprise when she jumped up off her blanket and stood right up and started taking a few steps. That’s when her mom said, “she’s been walking since 9 and a half months.” I about died right then…. um, what!??? So this little girl clearly has places to go.
Happy 1st Birthday, Madi!
This weekend I was so excited to shoot a graduation party for Carolyn, a 2010 grad from Keene State College. She starts grad school on Tuesday, so we're glad she could take a break and enjoy her party before she buckles down for another semester.
This party was held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Manchester, overlooking the Fishercats ballpark. WOW what a view! It was easy to see how you might end up with a baseball in your drink if you were here during a game.
Beauty and brains…. she and her friends certainly have it all! It was an amazing day to enjoy the awesome food, drinks, sun, and friends. Not to mention that she got the special treatment from the hotel since she is one of their own employees. 🙂
Not to mention her hottie boyfriend….. do we see some modeling in his future? Look at him looking all serious! 🙂
You must submit to a cheesy balloon shot when mom and dad are throwing the party……!
A party blog post from me wouldn't be complete without a beauty shot of the cake! Candy and Carolyn picked this one out custom from Frederick's…. white almond pound cake with chocolate buttercream filling. It was delicious (and I might have had 2 pieces….!) Hey, I work up an appetite at these things….
The food was so awesome. It was a perfect menu complete with crabcake sliders, pulled pork sliders, lobster salad sandwiches, barbecue chicken, potato salad, clam chowder, corn on the cob……. and this HUGE shrimp cocktail.
Is it just me, or does anyone else start singing Harry Belafonte's "Daaaaay-O" song when they see shrimp cocktail like this?
Congratulations, Carolyn! Best of luck in grad school!
Happy 6th Birthday to Ben! He had an awesome party at Flipz Gymnastics in Concord this past weekend, with about 15 kids. He and his mom made this giant cupcake for him to blow out his candle on, and the kids chowed on cupcakes, ice cream cups and Capri Sun. Too fun!
