Erika Follansbee Photography Wins Two Bright Lights Editors’ Choice Award
The award is given in recognition of the those whose number of published features in 2013 placed them among the top 5% of all Two Bright Lights members. Winners were published across many of the most respected lifestyle, wedding and other print and digital publications in the United States and worldwide.
I am honored to be part of this group of talented photographers and creative professionals. My features this past year have enabled me to increase exposure for my work, and I am thrilled to have been recognized for my endeavors.

It’s no secret that I love getting my wedding couples’ photos published on national and local blogs, websites, and magazines. The lovely people that I’m so lucky to work with really pour their hearts into their wedding day, and when every detail is so carefully dreamed up, planned for, and executed perfectly by trusted wedding professionals and vendors, it clearly shows in the photographs. I’m happy to provide this extra step for my couples whenever I possibly can, because I know it makes them so excited to see their gorgeous weddings on blogs that will in turn inspire other couples as they plan their day.
I was thrilled as a result to find out I qualified as one of the recipients of the 2014 Editors Choice Awards from Two Bright Lights! Two Bright Lights is the platform that I use to submit my photos to online publications that makes it an organized, streamlined process. It’s definitely time consuming to consistently submit my work, but this platform takes much of the cumbersome aspect out of it and streamlines it as much as it can be.
