Samantha and Giuseppe were married on October 11, 2020 at the beautiful The Gardens at Uncanoonuc Mountain in Goffstown, NH. Their wedding was one of the most unique I have ever photographed, due to a fantasy theme which they described as “modern medieval.” With seven children between them, this family-focused celebration was so much fun and featured the talents of all their friends and family.
This wedding was also featured as a Real Wedding Story in the 2021 edition of Lakes Region Bride magazine.
Getting Ready
Since I live in Goffstown myself, what I love so much about this wedding is how local it all was to me. At the end of the night, my total mileage was a mere 21 miles, and this is unheard of for me on a wedding day. Samantha got ready at her maid of honor’s home in Weare, just over the Goffstown line, and it was a delight since everything was so close to home.
Meanwhile, the guys were all getting ready at Giuseppe’s house in Goffstown.
First Look
Samantha and Giuseppe chose to do their first look in the secret garden. It was the perfect spot for a private moment and a few photos before the ceremony.
Ceremony and Portraits
Samantha and Guiseppe had a traditional handfasting ceremony nestled in the woodland site at the Gardens at Uncanoonuc. All the kids looked so amazing in their matching cloaks.
Samantha and her bridesmaids were lovely with the early fall backdrop of the gardens. The girls wore merlot dresses, and held hoops decorated with flowers instead of traditional bouquets. Samantha’s bead-encrusted bodice flowed into a pool of gauzy material that embodied movement and femininity.
