Bishop Farm in Lisbon, NH has long been on my bucket list of venues that I would love to photograph, and in late September I was invited by Michelle at Michelle Heath Photography to second shoot a wedding with her. I was beyond impressed with the high quality rustic charm of the entire property, and the owners/event managers Heather and Annie kept everything running smoothly with a level of detail and attention that I have never seen. Their kindness even radiated to us, the photographers, and our every need was anticipated.

The Cattle Barn
First of all, the old cattle barn where the ceremonies are held is the most unique, jaw-dropping scene you can possibly imagine. The barn itself has wood-plank walls that let the sunlight spill through the cracks, and the entire thing has been retro-fitted with actual church pews and stained glass windows. It’s unmistakably a ceremony space, but the nods to its history as an actual cattle barn are very strong.
Cocktail Hour
The weather was absolutely gorgeous, so family and guests were able to take advantage of the beautiful space between the bars, enjoying passed appetizers, drinks from the bar, and a little cornhole as well.
The Rustic Barn Reception
Bishop Farm’s barn is one of the most Pinterest-worthy in New Hampshire. Three gigantic glass chandeliers crown the high rafters, while the windows softly draped in burlap, and long head table with beautiful farm chairs scream elegance in a space that is just completely rustic. It’s quite an amazing juxaposition.
