Janelle and Byron, owners of BluPrint Fitness in Chicago, are an amazingly inspirational couple. They’re a down to earth, fun loving couple, but under the surface lies the steely discipline of two dedicated and knowledgeable Crossfit coaches and businessowners. Since Janelle grew up in the Concord NH area, they held their April 11th wedding close to home, and chose the Belknap Mill in Laconia, NH for its beauty and comfort. Built in 1823, the Belknap Mill is the only building left that represents the first stage of the Industrial Revolution in America. It is the oldest, unaltered brick textile mill in the United States. Its event space for weddings and functions is so beautiful, with exposed brick walls and wood beams, huge windows which allow the natural light to pour in, and photo opportunities everywhere you look. It is truly a gem in Laconia, NH for weddings. Janelle and Byron personalized it for their big day with white linens, and clean, organic greens and browns that came from clusters of dried eucalyptus and pinecones. They decorated the walls with swags of black & white photos. Their minimalist, clean decorating allowed the beauty of the Mill to shine and it was a very welcoming look for their guests, as you can see in the photos below.

first look
The weather, although super windy, was the first balmy spring-like day we’d had this season, so it was a welcome change from the snow and ice from just a few days prior. I’d say they lucked out with the weather, and Janelle was wise to choose a beautiful updo that highlighted her features and wouldn’t blow around!
Our day started with a first look, so Janelle and Byron had a few minutes to enjoy seeing each other for the first time. Janelle looked amazing in her Maggie Sottero “Reese” gown……. and believe me, not everyone can wear this dress. Janelle owned it.
