Recently I had the pleasure of meeting one of my 2019 couples, Katie and Sean, for their engagement session. Katie and Sean live in New York, but are having their wedding on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee in late summer because why would you not?? We scheduled a Saturday in Februrary for them to come up from NY, and hoped the weather would cooperate, and it sure did. Katie also scheduled her wedding makeup trial that same day with Jo Louise Beauty which is always the best idea because she had the double benefit of looking absolutely gorgeous for her photos!
We met up at Mine Falls Park in Nashua and had very cooperative weather–there was snow, but not too much, and it was cold, but not too cold. All in all, we had a great time getting to know each other and they enjoyed practicing posing and we chatted all things weddings.
How about a frozen lake for your engagement photos? It was pretty awesome, and very unique!
We got such a nice variety of backgrounds and poses in just one quick hour. As lovely as the day was, I am so excited about the fact that the next time I see them, there will be no snow on the ground.
