I am completely smitten with Jessica and Zach’s November engagement photos at Hamilton House in South Berwick, Maine. November is one of my favorite months for weddings and photos, believe it or not. Of course everyone loves October with its showoff colors and majestic scenery. But I find a quiet, somber beauty in November, when most of the trees are bare, all the leaves have been cleaned up, the sunlight is significantly weaker and allows for a quiet exploration of textures, colors, and soft light. Jess and Zach were amazing to work with, and it was great to be able to get some fall photos for them before their summer wedding next year.
