On July 11, I had the honor of photographing Kristen and Rick’s wedding which was impeccably planned and designed. Kristen is an amazingly talented interior decorator at The Modern Mill, and her style is a beautiful and functional blend of antiques and modern, functional pieces. Her look is fresh, efficient, comforting, and stylishly approachable. Their wedding was everything I knew it would be, with a kraft brown, pink, and gray color scheme accented with subtle metallics and natural textures that complemented the outdoor tented space perfectly. the ceremony & reception
Kristen’s father built the beautiful arbor for their ceremony. It’s an exact replica of the larger version he built on the back of their home, and was a beautiful backdrop to tie in the home that they have built together into their ceremony.
food & festivities
As an event planner, Rick’s mother orchestrated an amazing reception, overseeing everything from the food, to the flowers, and even hosting the event at her own home. Everything was gorgeous.
