Catelynn and Joby were married October 4, 2014 at the Meadow Wind Bed & Breakfast in Hebron, NH in a beautiful old New England barn on a rainy afternoon. Their wedding was masterminded by Catelynn, an incredibly talented bride who had endless ideas and lists of things she wanted to do. She was my Pinterest soul sister, and we shared pins for a whole year before her wedding. I loved being able to see her wedding board, and the things she was inspired by, and how she translated everything into her own vision for the day. “I’m very crafty,” she said, and she was not kidding. The barn and reception tent was completely covered over with things that she had made for the wedding, from the handmade throw pillows lining all the benches, to the burlap/twine/lace wrapped jars for the centerpieces, to the photobooth background she made, and all sorts of signage. Everything was given a complimentary color theme of pink, orange, and yellow which were pastel versions of the fall colors all around, and it looked beautiful and vibrant. Catelynn had everything planned out, timed perfectly, organized, and ready to rock…… in fact, the one and only thing that she could not control was the weather. There was quite a bit of rain that day, but we were able to squeeze in all the outdoor portraits just in time before the downpours began.
New Hampshire Fall Wedding
There was a real wedding miracle that afternoon….. as soon as we finished the bridal portraits, the skies opened up and it poured down rain and didn’t stop for the rest of the night. Luckily we were able to get those photos done just in time!
The Reception: Rustic Wedding Catering
Dinner was served under the tent, with a wonderful buffet of pulled pork and chicken, a baked potato bar, and delicious salads and slaws. The dinner display was the most amazing I have ever seen at a wedding…. I have to give kudos to Tracie Nugent, the caterer, for creating a masterpiece that was fantastic to look at as well as to eat. I mean, this crudites table was unbelievable!
Thank you, Catelynn and Joby, for letting me share in your amazing day. It was so fun to follow the whole process along, and see how it all came together.
