2012 Basic Commercial Pricing

Cost
My cost for a photo shoot on location is $150 for the first hour, $100/each additional hour, and my high-resolution images with unlimited commercial use license are priced in addition to the hourly rate at $35 each. The client has the freedom to choose exactly which and how many images they wish to purchase.
Please note this is an estimate for most straightforward photo sessions–pricing is not one size fits all. As always, please let me know your budget and the details of your needs so that I may price your project accordingly and work within your budget whenever possible.
Food photography: I photograph the food as it is presented by the chef, because I feel that the best representation of your work is exactly how you typically serve it to your customers. Environmental and ambiance shots of your restaurant will be used as a background for the food to truly highlight and emphasize the entire experience that a customer will have when viewing your photos. I use only natural and available light, and by doing so I can effectively capture all the nuances and details of your signature work. If desired I can photograph the chefs in action, and take environmental shots of the restaurant.

Time
My work is best suited for a project which can be photographed in 1-2 hours. Since my ideal client is a small locally owned business or restaurant, most small-scale shoots can be completed in this period of time. If you are needing something longer and more complex than can be done within about 3 hours, then I might not be the right photographer for your job. I don’t have a staff, or a team, or assistants. While every shop/bakery/restaurant is different, it’s safe to say that a 1-2 hour shoot in a small retail shop can easily yield a wide variety of proofs to choose from. Typically a client may have prepared a ‘shot list’, a list of specific things they need photographed, in advance which helps the process flow smoothly.
Presentation & Selection
Within 10 days of your shoot, I will email you an online proofing gallery where you will view the images which will all have had basic edits performed for color balance and brightness. Once you have made your selections for the images you want to keep, I then fully edit each chosen image, giving them the high-quality signature look that makes them unmistakably from Erika Follansbee Photography.
Delivery
After being custom edited, sized, and sharpened to look their absolute best, the final images are burned to a disk in both high resolution (for print) and low resolution (for website) formats, and mailed to you.
Rights & Useage
The high resolution images on your disk will contain an unlimited, all inclusive commercial use license, across all mediums, with unlimited reproduction (royalty-free). Copyright is retained by Erika Follansbee Photography LLC, and you may not resell or edit the images, although I grant you the use of the images for any business-related purpose.
